Each year the Open Paddle funds an improvement project at our school.  Past projects have included the Early Childhood split rail fence, the transverse climbing wall in the gym, the school’s front entrance, and most recently the auditorium.  There is no doubt that these projects have added much to the school, and to the experience that is a Waldorf education.

This year we are planning to begin a phased renovation of the existing locker room space into two gender specific locker rooms. This renovation may include: removal of some existing masonry wall; placement of new walls, doors, lockers, and benches; new paint, tile and ceiling tiles; electrical and plumbing improvement; relocating toilet and shower facilities; and restoration of the existing exhaust system. We were extremely fortunate to already have the beautiful wooden lockers you see here donated by the Buffalo Club to the school, and they are in safe keeping off-site waiting for their new home.
