Wood Framed Lyra Drawing by Audrey Watts
The 8th graders worked during art class and on their own at home to design a drawing that meant something to each of them and represented something about themselves. They first sketched on paper and then very carefully drew and colored on pieces of wood. Rolf Hoeg, master woodworker and AWS alumni parent, expertly crafted frames for each one in the Roycroft Craftsman style.
