LIVE - Willow Wood Stitched Table Runner with Handprints
The Willow Wood children love to move and play; but it is at snack time that they pause and come together to share stories, tell jokes and laugh with one other.

This colorful table runner is perfect for any table where meals are shared and connections are made. The children spent many days stitching their symbols into the burlap and “autographed” their hard work with their handprints.

LIVE - Rose Meadow Fairy Garden

A magical fairy garden created by the Rose Meadow Pre K class. This whimsical fairy garden was lovingly crafted by little gardeners, inspired by a year-long journey into a world of plants, puppet tales and fairy folklore. With tiny hands and big imaginations, the students filled the pot with soil, carefully placed plants, and built a home just right for fairies and gnomes. This student-led project blossomed with the help of parent volunteers.
This is a perfect centerpiece to welcome a little magic into any home!

LIVE - Oakwood Air B + B
The Oakwood children enthusiastically gathered, sorted, measured, clipped, sawed, drilled, sanded and hammered a collection of natural materials to create a home for the Bees.

Our ‘Air B + B’ is a specialized structure designed to support solitary nesting bees like mason and leafcutter bees, which are highly efficient pollinators that do not produce honey or live in hives. These “bee hotels,” provide artificial nesting tunnels for bees to lay their eggs, helping boost local biodiversity.

LIVE - Lilac Wet-Felted Seasonal Wool Wall Hangings
The Lilac children expressed their sense of the four seasons through colorful layers of wool. They enjoyed the process of finding images appear as they pulled and fluffed the soft medium, for example a worm to add to the spring scene, and a pumpkin for fall. They built the landscape ground to sky, in lovely shades of color! Then the children wet the wool, rolled it up, then rolled it back and forth to each other to complete this collaborative project.

LIVE - Grade 5 Barn Quilt Squares Wall Hanging
This felt art piece draws inspiration from the powerful history and symbolism of quilts used during the Underground Railroad. According to legend, a safe house was sometimes marked by a quilt displayed on a clothesline or windowsill. These quilts carried coded messages—through their shapes, colors, and patterns—that could guide an enslaved person to safety, signaling danger or pointing the way forward.

As part of their study of the Underground Railroad, the Fifth Grade class created this collaborative work by designing individual quilt squares based on traditional patterns from that era. Each square reflects both historical motifs and the students’ own interpretations, coming together to form a vibrant and meaningful piece that honors resilience, creativity, and the enduring human pursuit of freedom.
