Red Pines Mill Road
Red Pines at Mill Road is a beautiful 8x10 oil painting on linen with a custom wood frame. Kegler shares that nature itself has been the most humbling instructor, awestruck at the visual inspirations that emerge in the outdoors. The sounds, smells, and tactile qualities while in field cannot help but be infused in the work.

Resound
“Resound” by Ann Frank is a watercolor painting on hot press paper, which has a smooth surface and lustrous finish. Ann created this painting in 2008, and when she revisited it recently she was astounded by the color palette that evolved in this piece. In the course of her training in anthroposophical art therapy and Waldorf high school studio art teacher training, she has explored the embryonic development of the inner ear through drawing and sculpture, awakening the curiosity about sound, hearing, being heard and the art of communication that inspired this painting. Resound has been professionally framed and measures approximately 31” x 39”.

Yogi Fountain
Yogi Fountain, 2014. Slate and water, 18" x 12" x 7". More than a typical sculpture, Martin’s work has a deep back story in its natural inspiration; its materials are constructed from slate pebbles recollected from Lake Erie at Hamburg NY. More than a typical artwork it implements sound and silence, both literal and symbolic. More than the typical fountain it embodies the rhythm of water and the possibility of transcendence, giving a sense of stillness by its abstracted lotus posture figuration, this plays against the strong presence of the substances that Martin chooses in his composition and the formal design element of line that he skillfully utilizes to convey balance.

Sunflower Print
Sunflower, is an etched linoleum print, 12"x 12" by Master Roycroft printer Robert Finn.. The etched linoleum technique is an unpredictable and exciting technique that combines intaglio type mark making with traditional relief printing techniques. This technique brings unique style of definition to the artwork. In this case an alkali solution is used to produce a chemical etch that removes surface areas of the printing plate producing an incised line. When the alkali solution comes in contact with the resin in the linoleum it produces recessed areas with a granule surface. The remaining areas that are in relief are the areas that will print.

Pink Calla Lilies Watercolor
Pink Calla Lilies, still life: original watercolor by Wende Essrow. Pink is nature’s way of whispering beautiful secrets to all who listen and this painting is a way of sharing that beautiful voice, the poetry of pink petals unfolding with such grace for all to see. Pink Calla lillies are a flower’s way of dancing, like a solo prima ballerina to a hushed audience. They do not need more than pastel pink to shine on stage as a well-respected star of the summer garden. There is a graceful curve, an almost shy presentation of petals. They remind me of a young mother revealing her new baby to a loved one for the first time, an unwrapping of something extra special and beautiful waiting to be cherished.
